It is much brighter than the original incandescent lights and you don't have to worry about incandescent light bulbs blowing or fading overtime;
- As the plug for the f150 high mount stop light is underneath the headliner cab, about 3" in front of the rear window, you have two ways to install it: 1. Cut off the three wire connector from the truck and spliced the new assemblies wires (3) to the original three wires from the truck; 2. Please pull down the headliner to expose the clip in the wiring harness inside the cab. Please kindly add silicone to where the harness enters the cab from the exterior, just in case it leaks;
- Wiring tips of this LED cargo light assembly: Black Wire (negative) + Green Wire (Positive), Red light works; Black Wire (negative) + White Wire (Positive), White light works; This f150 3rd brake light includes 1pc foam gasket and is generally waterproof. Rubber Washers are included; Note: please save your two screws because the screws are not included with the new lights;
